Day 1 -Arrival/Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to Fairview for check-in and overnight.
Day 2- Nairobi/Aberdares
Departing Nairobi in the morning, you drive north to the Aberdares arriving in time for lunch prior to transfer to an exciting Tree Hotel overlooking floodlit waterholes or an afternoon game drive at the park. Dinner and overnight at SandaiBandas.
Day 3 -Aberdares/Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, and you spend the day game viewing in the park, where you will have a chance to visit a unique sanctuary catering for a sizeable number of the endangered rhinoceros and the Rothschild giraffe. Waterbucks as well as the predators such as the lion and leopard are common at the park. Also to be seen is a myriad different variety of birdlife in and around the lake with approximately 400 bird species recorded.Meals and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented camp.
Day 4 – Lake Nakuru /Masai Mara
After breakfast, you head south to the Masai Mara Game Reserve—jewel of Kenya’s Game Park. This enormous Reserve actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for it’s spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. After lunch, explore the Reserve on a late evening game drive.Dinner and overnight at Basecamp, Mara.
Day 5 & 6 -Explore Masai Mara
You spend the days exploring the park in search of the Big 5 as you enjoy the spectacular migration. Meals and overnight at the tented camp.
The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most visited game reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park or in the afternoon, you also have an opportunity to visit an authentic Maasai village at an extra cost.
Day 7 -Masai Mara/Nairobi
Early morning game drive and after breakfast, you depart for Nairobi to arrive early in the afternoon.
