Malindi is a once stately, now a rather sleepy town on the northern coast of Mombasa. Protected by tropical reefs, its beach is considered one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Malindi Marine Park offers ideal conditions for deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching, snorkeling or diving.  Malindi is also a good starting point for visiting the mysterious Ghedi Ruins and the fascinating rainforest ArabukoSokoke Forest.

In Che Shale the solitude is magnificent. I always enjoyed walking on the beach here with my son and just enjoying the time. Che Shale itself offers such a pleasant and calming atmosphere that I didn’t want to leave. What I also like so much there is the food…. That’s all I’ll say.

Day 16: Departure
On the last day of your stay in Africa, you will be picked up in time by your transfer driver from your hotel and driven directly to Mombasa Airport. Now it is time to say goodbye to this so wonderful country.
